This elegant collection fuses jazz with traditional and not-so-traditional boleros and includes "Lapiz y Cuaderno," a poignant song in Spanish and P'urhépechan, the language of a people indigenous to the state of Michoacán, Mexico. Also featured are Azul's haunting Spanish translation of Bett Butler's award-winning ballad "When Love Has Left the Room;" Butler's new English translation of the beloved 1939 classic "Perfidia;" and Joël Dilley's original crowd-pleasing samba "Luz de la Luna."
